There are quite often college guys cruising around on the upper levels of the library (usually 5th floor - 8th) around the stacks and in the bathrooms. You do not have to be a student or faculty member to access the library.

Neighbourhood: Wake Forest University

Wake Forest University is accessible from Silas Creek Parkway, Polo Road, and University Highway. From any of the entrances, it is easy to find Wake Forest Road and follow it until you reach the library.
  • Hours:The library is open from 8am until 1am Sunday - Thursday and until 7pm on Fridays and Saturdays. However, after 10pm, only people from Wake Forest University can drive onto campus. Generally, the best action is on Fridays and Saturdays when there aren't too many other people there. Otherwise, late nights and early mornings are good, too.
  • Cruising Info/ Tips:Generally, the stacks on floors 5 - 8 are pretty cruisy. Mostly only college and graduate school guys. A lot of guys meet in the stacks, and then either just have a quickie, move into a bathroom, or back to someone's room.
  • Nudity / Policy:Nudity is not permitted in the library; however, some guys will show a little off in the bathroom to get someone's attention.
  • Wheelchair Accessible:No / Yes, it is accessible as there are elevators to each floor.
  • Warnings:Just have to watch out. Every once in a while a librarian might walk through to put books back or another student or faculty member might come by. The bathrooms are generally very safe though.

  • wake4fun; I take offense at your discriminatory postings.
    I am a grad student here at Wake and feel I have as much (if not more due to my tuition rates) right as the twinks and jocks that cruise here.
    However I do agree that ANY guy that is not a student should go elsewhere to cruise.

  • Old guys, seriously. You stick out like sore thumbs, and you don't belong here. Stop cruising here. You are going to ruin the place and the cops are going to start watching it again. We are in college, let us have our library bathroom. You shouldn't be cruising here if you aren't in your 20's, even if you are a "grad student" that is 35+.

    You wonder why young guys don't cruise here much. It's because we don't want you, and you are ruining this place.
