Chippawa 'woods'
at the very end of Chippawa St.
This is a private commercial area where there are large hills of crushed stone and sand near the river. During working hours there is commercial activiity with dump trucks etc. near these hills. Wooded area is still pretty safe. After 5:00 p.m. and weekends, it's possible to discretely climb the hills or take a quick skinny dip in the river.
