The north and south can be really active in the summer. Not much in the winter. The south side is where all the truckers are. It's a bit of a hit and miss but there is usually someone wandering around if you're patient.
Crowd: Truckers and travellers.
Truckers and travellers.

(You have to be logged in) Add CommentIt should be noted that the Northbound side is CLOSED- and has a rather permanent look to it; while the all important Southbound side is a mystery- as it too is not only closed it's completely gone. It looks as if the State of Vermont is building a substantial DOT complex of buildings behind the old location. As you say, because a lot of truckers stopped at the old one- they must be doing SOMETHING, as my state is oddly welcoming to the gay community. Personally, I avoided the old place as a cop seemed always to be in there getting coffee, chatting it up with the one employee at the front desk (a seemingly nice but useless fellow [to us], as he feigns ignorance at the most obvious questions), except to hand out roadmaps and clean the stalls) It is rumored that the front desk is where the state put in gaydar, a unit only for the cop's benefit, and a man who rejoices over the Wrath his God shall pour down upon us loving souls, whih shall be always soon, he insists. As to the fate of the Northbound side- quinam percipiunt?
