La Rua takes its name from the Spanish term for the archway entrance to European towns. Owner Mario Enero's background is European, but the cuisine at La Rua is truly international, with the Pacific Northwest influencing the menu which is rich in seafood, steak & game. Mediterranean decor links two distinct rooms entered through archways: One with the ski slopes clearly in view; the other being romantic, soft and warmed by the characters in the surrounding mural. La Rua Restaurante is proud to be featured as one of the best mountain resort restaurants in North America and as one of the top 100 places to dine in Canada.
