Winding road to top of Crater overlooking Wetumpka. Trails that lead to the rim of the crater. Really remote and secluded. Park in pull off's and use nature trails.
Neighbourhood: Hill Side
Right on Hillside drive at Smokin S BBQ. Take first left and next left. Follow road to top of hill near radio tower. Pull offs are on the right and trail lead to rim of the crater.
- Hours:Open 24 hours. Best times are around 10am-2pm and again late after 5pm till around 8pm.
- Cruising Info/ Tips:Trails follow the north and south rim of the crater. Many secluded places in the wooded area just off the main trails.
- Nudity / Policy:Great place to get naked and walk in the woods.
- Wheelchair Accessible:No / No.
- Warnings:Easy to hear other traffic coming up the winding road to the top of the rim. Drive to top and check the radar and radio tower site to be sure they aren't working on it, then drive to pull off areas along side of road.
