The place is really nice for reading but if you're not there for the books, there is a place in the back for live entertainment. But the live entertainment gazebo is rarely used so there's a whole parking lot which is covered on three sides of it with trees. So the way you come in is the same way you get out. And the trees hide you while you do your thing.
Neighbourhood: Between Ford Rd. and Warren Rd.
When you first come down Central City Parkway you'll notice that the road is split. So if you're coming from Ford you have to do a Michigan Left Turn to get to the other side. If you're coming from Warren you'll have nothing to worry about. While coming on the correct side you'll see a sign which says Westland Public Library. You turn right and follow the road down. Eventually you'll come to an intersection. Turn right and then follow that path to the back until you see a lonely parking lot and a small gazebo on the right.
- Hours:This location is open all year round at all times.
- Cruising Info/ Tips:This place is for a rendezvous or if you want to hook up with someone who likes doing it in public places.
- Nudity / Policy:The best thing to do really is to stay in the car. There are trees but there are also houses on the other side of some of them. So stay in the vehicle.
- Wheelchair Accessible:No / It can be accessible to handicap individuals.
- Warnings:I've never encountered this problem but there is only one way in and one way out. Which means, if the police just happens to patrol back there, you're screwed. But like I said, its never happened to me.
