Urban adventure and daredevil design meet in Be Bar, a new genre of lounge. Founded by Michael Watson and Thomas McGuire in 2006, Be Bar is truly a new genre of lounge. We are within crawling distance of the newest bars and restaurants in Gallery Place Chinatown as well as the Verizon Center, just two blocks from the Mt. Vernon Square 7th Street Convention Center Metro Station, and walking distance of bed in DC's newest developing neighborhoods. We're not another flashy overpriced sit-back-and-pose place, nor are we just a monochrome nightclub. We strive to boast a balanced clientele of locals, tourists and specifically to become 'the destination in DC nightlife.'
