Bird sanctuary entrance is located at the south western most corner of the tobay beach parking lot. There is another parking lot at the end of the road in the sanctuary. Get out of car and walk thru the many trails on the south side of parking area. Very cruisy and many private areas.

Ocean Parkway east of Jones Beach about 5 miles east of field 6. Entrance is Tobay Beach. Once inside, there is a road to the left that goes to the sanctuary. You can drive thru if you have a pass (easily gotten for free, from the town of Oyster Bay Bldg. in Massapequa on route 107. If not pass you can park in the general beach lot and walk down the road to the bird sanctuary.

- Hours:Open all day, every day till 5 pm.
- Cruising Info/ Tips:Cruising areas are generally on the south side of the sanctuary parking lot. Many trails thru the trees, guys can gather, some very private places can be found. Some nude sunbathing takes place there as well.
- Nudity / Policy:Nudity is not allowed but have never seen any patrols in the sanctuary. Just use your head. there could be other people, other then guys cruising or walking thru.
- Wheelchair Accessible:No
- Warnings:As always use caution. Very rare to see anyone other then guys cruising here but it is an area open to the general public.
