From Interstate 15, north of Victorville, take the Stoddard Wells Road Exit. Go West on Stoddard Wells Road 1.5 miles to Grady Trammel Park. Pass the park on the West side of Stoddard Wells, go past the Church, turn West on the dirt access road (gate is always open) and go 1/2 mile West to the "T" in the Road. At that point, you will see a railroad trestle, take the dirt road North about 500 yards past the trestle, cross the tracks, and follow the dirt road up the hill to the large rock formation near the top of the hill. "The Rocks" are right under the power transmission lines. The whole area is a complex of large rocks and trails. Plenty of places to hang out. BLM Police occasionally patrol if the activity picks up too much. Please don't litter the desert, act civilized, and they will leave you alone.
