2 bathrooms at bottom of dam also another one 5 miles from there at Littcarr recreation area. Best times are weekdays around noon would not recommend cruising on weekends. Don't go to the bottom of the dam because restrooms are closed now.
Crowd: Nice-looking young and older guys truck drivers, coal miners.

  • The dam area is starting to become busy again with cruisers. It is busiest around 6 to 8 pm when all the coalminers are getting off work.

  • Passed through here a couple of weeks ago... Knott County's finest are checking the restrooms frequently. I stopped by four times over three days and the cops were there every time. The one time it was clear I was in the bathroom for no more than five minutes and the Sheriif walked in checking the stalls. With the loud ventilation system and no windows there is NO warning to alert someone walking up... definitely not safe. I don't know why the cops would be so suspicious with a parking lot full of single men sitting in their cars in the middle of no where?

  • You can also meet guys late at night on weekends. Around dark until one or two in the morning. Usually a varaity of people come here.....
