At about 11pm Thursday night, 2 plain clothes police officers came into the Fox Theatre and stood at the back for a while. They each took a turn walking down the centre aisle to the front and back. After conferring with each other at the back again, they selected a couple of guys in the middle, went up and confronted them with a flashlight, and then removed them from the theatre. Listening from the other side of the door, I could hear them telling the guys that they were both "under arrest for committing a lewd act in a public place".

That did it for me - I left via the front door (and I ain't goin' back)

We at one time worked for the same company but not at the same location. You were going to the Aquatic Center and gave me a ride back downtown...we were going to go for a beer but I had left my meds at my hotel and was having some pain so you dropped me off. I liked you and got the feeling that in other circumstances we would probably have had that beer...and then some...probably dinner and some clubbing etc. later. It might be a good idea to call the police over smoking inside, I have threatened the desk people but they pretend they don't understand. The crack was so strong the other night I thought it would get on my clothing and left. If EVERYONE who went in complained, it might help and they say they have a web site now, go there and blast them. Maybe they'll do something. Probably not though. Expect it to go soon and the city is no longer licencing these places.
