This is mainly a 'surfers' beach, especially off season and it is quite secluded. It's a beautiful and secluded beach with miles of open cruising space.

Drive to fingal head and instead of turning left to fingal beach and the caravan park, turn right and follow the dirt road for about 1/2 k. Park in the carpark and head up the beach track. Walk south (you will see byron light house in the distance) about 1-2 k's and you will reach the cruising area.

- Warnings:It's a dirt track and can be a rocky drive in wet season.
Warnings: Just follow directions and stay clear of the main beach.
