The beach is divided into two parts. When you come down the trail, the first part is called the Sandy Beach. If you walk north on the beach you come to the Rocky Beach. Great view of Trinidad Head from most of the beach. You can find agates and beach glass on the beach.
Crowd: Mixed variety (Gays, Straights, Married with kids, fishermen)

Neighbourhood: About 1 1/2 mile south of Trinidad, Ca on Scenic Drive. It is just south of Cher-Ae Heights Casino

Trinidad is around 20 miles north of Eureka, Ca. After you turn off Hwy 101, turn south on Scenic Drive and go approximately 1 1/2 miles. You should see other cars parked along the road.
Cross street: Trinidad Exit on Highway 101

  • Hours:When the weather is sunny.
  • Cruising Info/ Tips:Be descreet. There are families.
  • Nudity / Policy:Yes / The beach has been clothing optional since the early 1900's. Not everyone that goes there gets nude.

  • Warnings:People who bring their dogs and don't watch them.

  • Didn't realize until today that there is a listing for this place, so my comments are a little dated. Anyway, last Sept. driving PDX to SF Bay Area long, slow, scenic coast route, stopped to briefly enjoy the beach. Was blatantly cruised by coupla guys & got the "eye" from a few others. Wife was with me, so it just wasn't gonna happen. Now that I know there really is action, will stop sometime when alone & have more time.

  • This is a really pretty beach, rivaling anything in Moterey or the world for that matter. Very peaceful and it is in a cove that blocks the wind coming in from the north.

    Recently I've noticed hardly any females, much less single, and many more guys -- not necessarily gay -- but willing to show their hard ons and play with them.

    The frist part of teh beach was usually regulars, mostly nude, the second aprt--the rocky part--was always more guys, and more palces to get behind rocks. I ahve no idea why teh guy crowd has come over to teh sandy beach side, but it has seemed to chase away females and regular nude bathing types. JSut too many dudes all rubbernecking I guess. Scares tham off.

    Take it around the bend guys. Much more private there too.
