hi guys update about the club baths"
I went to the cub baths last sunday 12 noon, only 2 guys there ( one was a male hooker, ( asked for $) the other was old.
I stayed till 2pm, wandering the halls bored and left! they charged $17 for a room, I asked if any weekly speicals" like all the other baths have, They told me no! NEVER
So I went to the "steamworks " $10 room, 8 hrs and it was busy!
I will never ever go back to the club baths again! dont waste your $ and time going there.

It would be nice if Central Spa bought this place. Only bathhouse with an outdoor pool to play in. Sucks how no one goes here because of its crappy conditions

tony tv is right, this owner (heavy 60's guy with white hair and works midnights, is EXTREMELY rude and has lost SEVERAL of his "regular" customers since he "bought" the place about two years ago. You're right----he DOES NOT ownthe building, just the business.

I hope developers by the land and kick him rigth out of business.

I don't know how this old dump is still in buisness! Its too bad its gone down hill,it was the first bathhouse i ever visited....back in the 90's. Then it had a charm of its own....the old victorian features having been retained. The hot tub was the best in the city,and the heated pool a real bonus.It needs someone to invest time and money and make a little gem again! Last time i went two years ago....it was a saturday night and empty....so went next door to spa excess! Never been back since then. Probably won't....why bother to pay and have no one to play with.....

I was there last summer, and while the pool maybe something that keeps some people coming back, it is also falling apart. It should just close down. It is so sad at the state of repairs in this building. It is just a complete dump. I would not set foot in that place again. This is not like the bijou days, were the Bijou was much different, in terms of glory hole fun. Club Toronto "could" be a huge money maker, if they spent a hundred grand and ripped the place apart. It could easly recoupe the money. It should be the "place" with that pool, but its just to much of a dump.

Someone else owns that building, as well as the building that houses Spa Xcess, as well as the small apartment building that sits between both buildings. They just collect the rent. Camille and Bobby only sold the business that exists inside that house.

And that is when things went downhill. Problem was that the new owner (the one that is nasty) has a real arrogance about him. His attitude is, �if you don�t like the way things are run, go somewhere else�. And you know what? Almost all of the loyal customers have taken him up on his offer, and have gone next door to Spa Xcess. He immediately got rid of all of the customer specials and existing memberships, which doesn�t cultivate customer loyalty. Again it is his arrogance that is doing him in by saying �leave if you don�t like what I�m doing�. Which is exactly what has happened.

The folks at Central C Spa (both in Hamilton, London and Toronto) had wanted to purchase Club Toronto, but put in t heir bid too late. What likely will happen is that the current owner will sell it to the Central C Spa folks one of these days. Either that, or the land will be turned into a condo development.

If it were not for the pool in the summer this place would be out of Business. Even the last time I was there in the summer there was not that many guys there sunbathing....Used to be packed by the pool all day and then you could go inside for some shade
