Does anybody ever play on the sun deck? I've been here a couple of times during nice weather and I have yet to see people playing outside. Kind of a bummer that they don't, playing outside rules.

Normalguy74 You will love it here! Its a place made for all types of guys! Lots of exotic types too from all over the place! There are a few flights of stairs to navigate as Excess is laid out over 3 floors plus a basement gym shower area. A couple of the regulars are "big" guys and they seem to have a good time!

Will be going tonight myself for the usual hot time! Last weekend was one of the best yet! And with pride happening in 3 weeks....plus warmer weather....it should be a hot time for all! Any hot Asian or Latino boys want to hook up for some fun? See u there!

A friend of mine and I are going to pull an all nighter at Excess on Saturday night. Arriving around 8PM and leaving Sunday at 8AM. Hoping it's a busy night. I would love to blow a guy or 2 on the outside deck if it's not too cold or raining.

In the basement bathroom,they have douche nozels....plus the bar serves hot food on demand,like pizzas and hot dogs and great sandwiches! Even without all that..the wet area is amazing alone! I have been on Saturday nights when they had free beer promotion in the bar,and you could sample a new beer they were selling. I love this place,thats why i keep going back!

As well Spa Excess has a tanning bed, internet kiosks, a registered massage therapist, a "toy" store, a legal smoking area and room reservations for out-of-towners.

I tend to only go on hot days during the summer to lounge by the pool and tan. Always been treated well by staff.....shame the place can't be busier. They don't roll out the special deals, that's for sure...but it's 10 bucks for a locker during the day, and who needs a room? Plenty of private places to play all over the place with no interruptions.

I agree about the SPA XS JO parties being a total drag, When I lived in NYC I went to the NYJacks parties; they did it right. It was in a big, DARK space. Very comfortable. Everybody there having fun... With everybody else. XS, by contrast, holds the "parties" in a brightly lit locker room area; a bunch of crummy fold out chairs in a row. The whole thing is just not conducive to having a fun time together. As a result, guys just sit there in the fully lit room, wanking THEMSELVES (and that's on a good night).

My verdict: JO parties are a great idea and can be a lot of fun. XS is a great club but they should do a little research into places that really do it up right. I'd gladly go, but never again the way they currently have it set up.

All the good times reviews here are LIES, the place is the best there is in Toronto, but there is nothing happening action wise. I imagine that the good reviews are from the regulars that inhabit this place....

I been there many time always feel welcome and never left disappointed --the staff treat with respect and kindness--even get a laugh or two. Thanks to the management for doing their best --but you cant please everyone in this world any more--but you do try your best.

personally I have smelled weed at all of the baths I have gone to and on each occasion a staff member was trying to find what room it came from and an announcement was made. each bath does the best they can to stop this.

I think it could be just as easy to accuse you of the opposite. many people jump all of the negative comments people make and accuse them of lying. they have the right to their opinion. maybe some people on here are running them down because they want xs to be seen as the perfect place so everyone will go there and they can continue to get the action they need. this place is not for everyone. to each their own. I personally go to 3 different baths for different reasons. I have had good & bad experiences at them all. none of them are perfect, let's not pretend they are.

Its not often you smell weed or cig smoke there anymore. When you do,it seems the staff makes an announcement and mentions the room area were it is. They have such a great patio area anyway,its so easy to go out and smoke. The smoking police do visit all over.The place can get high fines if people are smoking inside...specifically cigarette smoke,the weed smoke enters the whole illegal law area. So staff are on it quick. It makes it more pleasant with no acrid smelly smoke! Plus no burns on the sheets or smoldering fires in the garbage cans!

Mr. bushbat, who said anything about them not being allowed to be there. I just with they would respect other when you say "no thanks". They just don't get it! They become a nuisance. Too much celery at that buffet! I do not patronize anymore, and am eating elsewhere. That is my preference.

As much as I don't want to cause a schism, I was a daytime customer of Spa Excess for some time....and yes, the VAST majority of customers during the day were gaggles of Asian men. That's just the truth....and yes, I have had to physically push away more than my fair share of hands/bodies off me, and it just happens that 100 percent of them were Asian. I ended up being put off by others ability to not respect the word NO.

So, if anyone has a problem with that, then that would be YOUR problem, not mine.

Damn, I've never found it to be too cold in the winter, if anything it can get a bit too warm in winter. Oh, and I'm sorry to say something nice about Spa Excess Drone. I know how much you hate that.

Interesting comments! I have only stayed in the Toronto Area one time ( 2 weeks in Milton for work) in January of '08. I was fortunate to check out Spa Xcess a couple of times ( mostly late morning/early afternoon since I was working nights). I found the clientel fairly diverse. There might have been a few more Asian guests, than I am used to seeing, but afterall there is a sizeable Chinatown, not too far away. I thought for the day time hours there were a lot of young guys there. I had checked out 2 other baths, but they were both comparitively dead.
The guys were friendly. I even had more action with younger guys than I usually do. ( for the record I am 46 and could lose 30 lbs, and I normally am attracted to daddies) I can't wait to come back again and play!!, Maybe in the fall I will be able to get up there again for a couple of days. I just loved the public sling. And surprisingly I got more action in it during the day, than I did the one Friday night I was there. Also, the douching cubicals were great.

From what I've read in previous postings, Asian Nights are organized by Asians, they do all the work, spa excess just facilitates and advertises the event. And they welcome everyone to attend, not just Asians.

Perhaps a group of young guys should do the same, organize an event and ask SpaExcess to host and advertise it. The discount for students is already in place. Make it whatever night you like.

I go there to have fun and always leave feeling that I have gotten more than my moneys worth. I like all ages and ethnic backgrounds. It's the person himself that makes the man and has nothing to do with his background. I honour all preferences, if a guy indicates that he is not interested, I just move on. After all if two guys don't find at least some mutual attraction, what's the use.

There is a very good mix of ages and ethnic origins there, and it changes from minute to minute. I wonder if those who say there aren't many young guys there have lumped the hot young asians in with the older ones.

Let's get back to what this all about guys, great fun in a clean, safe and relaxed environment. Happy cruiseing.
