Just read in XTRA that Remington's has hired a new manager and still has plans to do major renovations to the place. I'll believe that when I see it (sorry, but the website has said that for over a year). Also says that the upstairs is going to be converted into some sort of Euro-style afterhours play area. Sounds interesting. Remember guys, you don't get a second chance to make a first impression so do things right from the start or you can kiss repeat business away. People will be curious to see what all the excitement is about but if it's a dud then don't expect them to return. We'll be watching for some sort of advertising when it all comes together......

If they're open again then why don't they advertise the fact, or at least update their website? Do they actually think we're walking by day to day just to see if they've reopened? This place has no idea how to market themselves and deserves whatever happens to them. They've been closed for years, as far as I'm concerned.

of coarse you hear different stories. it's like the game telephone, everything gets distorted. there is a sign in the window at Crews saying that they have applied for a new license. I saw one of the staff and they said they hope to be open mid June.

not sure if they did any renos...the word i got was they closed last month due to failure to pay rent....maybe they finally came up with the money

that's the problem with businesses like this...wish they'd just be honest with people when they close down...if you plan on being open again don't you want people to know? same with crews/tango being closed...if you talk to 10 different people you'll hear 10 different stories as to whats happening there

and yes, remingtons marketing is non-existent ....they should have updated their website long ago and should have posters all over the village and ads in the rags telling people they're open again

Aren't there any other places with nude dancers? I remember years ago there were at least 3 gay bars that had nude dancers and you could get lap dances.

Went there last week when out for a walk without much cash. I asked if they had an ATM and was told they did, so I paid the $10 cover charge with the last of my cash. Once inside I used the ATM but got to the part where you approve the transaction fee. Instead of it being $1 or $2 or even $2.75 that I have paid at some ATMs, this one was $10. The owners must really be into fisting people!

My experience was 15+ dancers on each occasion, nearly all dancers did a full nude strip on stage and the few of them who tempted me upstairs for a private dance did not disappoint. Charges.....they all earned their tips, and having almost not gone thanks to some negative comments, the place was good fun. Yes, they tried hard to get 'private dances' with customers, but once declined, none of them applied any pressure or hassle.

Forget about going to this dump. It's a total rip-off. Now $10 just to enter and the dancers (hustlers) won't leave you alone until you go upstairs and dance with them. Seldom do they even remove their underwear. They've got you hook, line and sinker at this point. Judging by the lack of customers there I'm totally surprized that they can even pay the rent! Too bad. So much potential. Nobody who runs the place knows a thing about marketing or advertising. Just look at their website. They call it MAGNUM. How screwed up is that? The only positive comments you'll see on this site have obviously been planted by staff or owners themselves. Save your money and go somewhere else!

I used to go to Remingtons often several years back. it didn't matter what night you went, it was almost always busy with lots of dancers.Even on Monday nights where VIP dances were, and I guess still are, $10 instead of $20 you were given a great time in the VIP booth. I hadn't been back for a while so I went last Monday night for old time sake. It's still $10 per dance on Monday's but just until 10 pm when it goes to $20. A russian dancer named Paul kept pressuring me over and over to come upstairs with him for a private dance. I finally gave in. What a mistake. The "dance" was pathetic and he wouldn't even let me touch him! I stopped him about 2 minutes in and said I had had enough. I gave hime his $10 bucks (I had said I go up for 3 or 4 dances.) Given that the entire bar only had 4 or 5 people in it, you'd think he'd be more "into" giving me a good time. Instead when I stopped his dance after he wouldn't let me touch him (he even pushed my hands away) and told him I'd changed my mind he said "You'e an idiot!" Nice. Great customer service.

There were 22 dancers and most of them were hot. Not only were the dancers hot but the staff and patrons to be very friendly. I would highly recomend checking this place out. Yes...the place is kind of ran down but the people made up for it. But remember...It dosn't hurt to just say hello to strike up a conversation. But this goes fo anywhere you go. If you don't smile at people and say hello...don't expect them to say anything to you.

Was there last Fri night...not as bad as everyone makes it out to be. Some nice looking and friendly dancers. I'm not really into paying for a private dance but I thought some of the guys were nice.
