A really nice public park on the Maumee River at Providence Dam. The shelter house is rarely used but open to the public. You can in shelter house and see hundreds of feet in all directions to avoid detection. Even when the park is full , people are rarely up in the shelter house. If so...there miles of trails throughs wood ot along the river with ample discreet areas. There is no fee for use of park.

From Toledo: Rt. 24( Anthony Wayne Trail) heading west just passed Passed Grand Rapids on left. About 20 miles southwest of downtown Toledo.

  • Hours:Afteroons after about 3:30 are when it really picks up. Depending on weather, park stays busy until it closes at dark. Busy all day weekends.
  • Cruising Info/ Tips:A lot of guys take their dogs there to walk them. It is purely a decoy, and that they are cruising.
    This is in rural America and there is no need to walk a dog in a park unless the owner is striaght looking for and using the dog for his own selfish reasons.

  • Wheelchair Accessible:No / Handicap access to Park, but not to shelter house.
  • Warnings:Thre are park rangers but they are very friendly and not nosey at all.
