Direction: o to Nakadori (Central) street in Shinjuku 2-Chome. Nakadori street has the most gay bookstores in the area. Go to the north on the street and you'll soon find Yasukuni Dori street. Cross the Yasukuni Dori street and then you'll find a MOS Burger hamburger shop to your left. Turn right on the alley right before the MOS Burger. HX is located on the first floor of a regular residential (manshon) apartment building. And its name "HX" is written very small and the place is very dimly lit.

On the same block, you will find a SunKus convenience store (7-11 type store). Directly across the street from this store is a small street with no name. Take this street a few buildings and find HX on the right. It is next door to a commercial building with parking on the ground floor. In the daytime it is hard to find because the name is so small - at night there is a light. Don't confuse with J-Spark which is on the same street a few doors down (they don't accept westerners and no one under 35). HX accepts everyone from what I can tell.----From Ni-Chome, take Nakadori street (with all the bookstores) north, cross Yasukuni Dori and turn right across from MOS Burger.
