Very active during summer months after dark. Lots of trees and secluded areas, and the river bank is down a hill away from the road and very secluded. Old out houses have s, new ones near parking lot are fiberglass.
Crowd: Young to middle-aged blue collar types.

Eastbound on M-55 from M-65 approx. 6 miles to east branch of AuGres River. Rest area is on north side of the road, alongside the river.
Cross street: M-65
  • Crowd:Young to middle-aged blue collar types.
  • Hours:Summer weekends after dark.
  • Cruising Info/ Tips:Walk to the rear near the old out houses and hang around there, or down the path to the river.
    Cruisiest Spots: Along the river bank (very secluded) and at the very rear of the park by the old rest rooms (also very secluded).
  • Wheelchair Accessible:No
  • Warnings:State police do patrol the area but not heavily and cannot see the river area from the parking lot. Stay away from the M-55 bridge over the river next to the park as this is frequented by fishermen.

  • Anyone ever there around 8 or 9 at night on weekdays or 1-2 on weekends? Was there this weekend and found nothing bunch of guys fishing tho! Just wondering new to all this and wanna try it soon!
