I Just saw on the news that 5 people were arrested here on Saturday for Lewd and Lacivious acts. They showed their pictures and named names. There were 4 white men and one asian woman. Be really careful !!

No murderers, rapists, drug dealesr or wanted criminals were harmed during these arrests. I guess they would have to actually look for criminals. I can only wonder who is being served or protected... Follow the money

my guess, avoid theaters and go to places with glory holes like XTC (Lois) or XTC (Fowler) but if you can't do that, then avoid popular nights - like saturday and friday. but that is only my guess - i don't plan law enforcement operations.

that really sucks, any word on them going to other drew park locations as well? which ABS's in that area are the best at this point if you want to avoid the cops?

I've never seen Bill behave quite that badly, but it doesn't surprise me. I have seen him knock on non-paying doors. He has a definite power-trip going. My guess is that they simply allow him unlimited admission for doing simple chores around the place. I would be amazed if they pay him anything for the next-to-nothing that he does. I try to avoid him whenever possible, but he appears to be a permanent, creepy fixture.

Yeah, that "Bill" guy was in there Wed afternoon as well, yelling at three different people to put money in, and each time, they had just walked in the booth and had barely closed the door. He was sitting in a chair and the end of the hall, by that old broken down video game machine. Everyone left because of him.

Does the guy at the counter know he does this?

Dr Randy, I don't believe the person you saw was the manager. I believe that was "Bill", who under the current ownership, appears to be a gopher with fringe benefits. Under the old ownership, I remember him telling me he was a co-owner, which I never believed. In any case, he DOES always act like he owns the place, and when he and his cronies are hanging around it lends a definite creepy air to the place.

Heard from regular goers that memberships was the plan after a certain time at night and you had to be a member - but got so busy some nights 150-200 people of which 4 or more couples would go.

At 19.00 a pop they were raking in the money and forgetting who they were letting in. Was not as bad as when they were filming porno of "wives gone wild" but was open in theaters and in pool room.

I heard there was 1 raid that night and it's not constant basis ,,,

the arrest was in the theatre from what I understand from staff. I was told the arcade was left alone.

Does anybody know if these arrests follow incidents in the arcade or the theater? I would suspect the theater. Do they turn on the light right there when it's going on or do they let the people "get off" and arrest them as they are leaving the building? Does anyone know?

I see the arrest date listed as 05/01/09 for the 4 arrested people on the Hillsborough County Arrest Inquiry site, so stings are current.

If they are selling memberships are they going to let couples in again?

word has it there was a bust here Friday night (1 woman and 3 men were arrested). While Playhouse was going membership - they are selling the membership as in admission to all who showed up.

visited last night, totally dead first time, went back a bit later and about 6 guys spread around all by themselves looking they were there to nap on couches. place sucks

Hey guys, need some advice/feedback.
I'm more than familiar with the protocol in adult theaters and video arcades/booths. But the small private "mini-theaters" at this place are a new one on me. What is the protocol for these rooms? I've seen guys standing in the doorways simply watching the tv, and others sitting on the couch simply watching the tv. What does this imply? Are the "standers" offering a service? Or wanting to be serviced? Ditto for the couch loungers. Or are these guys simply hanging out and not sending any signals? If you want to be serviced, what do you do? If you want service, what do you do? Help me out with the signals/protocol. Thanks

Scabrous, Don't really know of any protocal. I was there one afternoon and sitting opn the couch kindof rubbing my crotch. Guy walked up and look at me. I looked back and patted the seat next to me but he just walked away.

Fantasyland sold nearly 200 tickets for the theaters on Friday night both parking lots were chock full. You can go here and have fun, like any place be smart and with some guys wife have some courtesy.

I'm kind of curious why you have such animus against guys who are doing nothing to you. They're just standing around. Why would that make you mad? Did nobody want to play with you?

went there sunday night. first time in a long time. nice place but there was a girl in there just looking around felt very uneasy and a guy that kept exposing himself without any hesitation. did not look cool. thought it was a set up. be carefull. also spent 19 dollors to get in

Went aging today 1-26,09. saw 3 undercover cops. Be careful. they were in theatre and arcade.

Have that canned that tall guy that used to work there with the flashlight? He used to be there until about 3 pm, chasing cruisers away. Last time I visited was last year during Gasparilla.

They've really made this place look better. More glory holes, new paint, & rearranged a little. I don't see those idiots filiming glory hole porno here anymore which is a good thing as far as I'm concerned. It seems to not be particularly busy, though, which is dissapointing.

Had a chat with the new owner today. Very personable guy, kept mentioning he was an investment banker and bought the place as an investment.Said his lawyer advised that creating a private club was not necessary to avoid problems, so sounds like that won't be happening. They've really added some classy touches to the places, and very gratified to see that many new glory holes have been added between booths.

was an extemely attractive couple buff guy and blondie she sat in his l;ap and rode him but her never touched her ,, this went on for 10-15 minutes and then one guy whipped it out and they busted him.

I have never seen a place like this. Very hetero on the weekends with couples coming in. Not too many gay men to be found those nights. Much more luck during the day and right after work for arcade. Theatre isn't really worth it unless you like to see lonely straight men patiently waiting all day for some male female couple to show up.

how is membership cost now? is it per visit or for a month? do you pay additional 1st night? Is it also open to come after a certain time like 9 pm? I heard they were going into member only mode and all there could play after that time, but no new got in (unless maybe you were a member?)?

This place has gotten alot nicer. New owners have really spruced this place up. Several more private area in thater area. Good private places to play as well. New leather couches in theaters. Very nice. Played alot there on Saturday Night. Would love to see some more play there soon. This really is a good place.

It's too bad the local authorities are so narrow minded. What a waste of taxpayers dollars. All the police are accomplishing by cracking down on the ABS is forcing people to go elsewhere. Like public parks, restrooms, playgrounds, beaches etc...Everywhere most people don't want this activity. They should leave the ABS alone so adults can play in a controlled enviorment, but like some of the previous posts say it's all about politics. Remember Politics....."Polly" means many and a "tick" is a bloodsucker. Too many greedy politicians looking to grandstand. One of these bloodsuckers will probably use the Drew Park cleanup as a slogon in his political race...

New Owners are taking the club private -- have made a lot of decor changes and neatened the place up. After a certain time at night entry is cut off and doors locked. Don't know how this will effect booths or earlier times before lock down.

ummm. for the last year at least the glory holes were never closed here. maybe you're thinking of somewhere else. I think they actually added a new one not too long ago. there are now 4 (4 pairs of booths).

On weekend nights (when it was previously impossible to park your car in the lot) it is now quite dead. I usually just wind up pulling into the lot and doing a big loop at the end because there are no cars to block your path. It's not impossible to get lucky here, but most guys are very cautious/nervous about doing anything.

What is the situation like at Fantasyland these days? I haven't been in the Tampa area for a few months. I will be over that way this weekend. Is it cool to check this play out? I always had a fun time there with couples and singles before.

This place used to be a good place to go. Unfortunately, I'm not sure how long any of the ABS will be able to run their business. I do know that the Drew Park Business Association is looking into changing the outlook of Drew Park by putting up a new Mall plus some new condos and new housing subdivisions. They have enlisted the help of the Tampa and Hillsborough County police and sheriff departments to try and clean the area up. Just be cool if you go to the ABS's. We all would like to see them stay in business. Try night to be foolish or we probably won't have anywhere to go in Tampa.

I'm didn't get introuble here, I just see it happening and it is hitting a hard note with me. I'm fed up with the ' all good ' southern Tampaians thinking that we are doing the worst crime of our lives here. And while they are in these stores looking to entrap ( might add JUST GUYS ) wouldn't they have been better served on the streets fighting real crime, drugs, robberies, rapes, etc. It completely deplores me that our city things so backwards.
