A lot of outdoor action after dark, during the day most action occurs indoors in the stalls. Occasionally you will get truckers who want you to go to their trucks.
Crowd: After 3pm you get students, after 5pm you get businessmen, construction workers, and truck drivers.

Take the eastbound I-69 entrance ramp from M-13 (Lennon). Mile Marker 126 It's 1.5 miles west of Swartz Creek Exit.

  • Hours:After 5pm. Weekdays till 11pm.
  • Cruising Info/ Tips:If you plan to stay until dark, familiarize yourself with the dog run behind the parking lot - the trails are well beaten, and highly active after the sun goes down. It's a good idea to have these trails memorized.
    Cruisiest Spots: The stalls. Sit in one of the center two stalls - drop your pants and underwear arround your ankles - and watch for shadows of others looking under the stalls and tap your toe.
  • Wheelchair Accessible:No
  • Warnings:State troopers occasionaly do drive-throughs. As long as you're not in eye shot when they drive through, they will keep going. Keep an eye on entrance ramp from the freeway, you can usually catch a glint of light reflecting off of the bubble light on top of their car and have enough time to dart into the woods or get to your car before they pull through the parking lot.

  • I believe it will be closed all summer, as they demolished the old building and will construct one of the newer style rest area buildings. I believe it is scheduled to reopen in the fall.

  • I was recently there in the late afternoon (still daylight) and the cops rolled through. I was in my car and had not gotten out once. The cop got out, tapped on my window and asked me where I was from and what I was "really" there for. I told him I needed to make a call, he said, "you need to leave NOW." There were families there and everything, too. Just be very careful here.
