This is the sumit of the Eastern point of Werneth Low where Werneth Low Road and Brow meets. There is a small area which can fit a number of cars for cruising with many paths leading from this off to a large country park covering much of Tameside and Stockport. There are many area of dense woodland in close proximity, open parkland with benches and covered areas and large gardens, completely empty after dark.
The oddly named " Brow" is a good area for cruzing with many cars pulling up after dark. The summit of this road is the best place for cruzing with cars parking there at any time during the night.
The area looks over the huge urban area of Greater Manchester, the second largest urban area in the United Kingdom after Greater London. On a clear night there is nothing better than cruzing with a fantastic carpet of lights sprawling as far as the eye can see!
Neighbourhood: Hattersley
From Stockport:
From Werneth Road/Sandy Lane turn onto Werneth Low Road and contiune straight on. The sign at the bottom of the lane states "not suitable for heavy goods vehicles"
From Hyde:
Turn off Stockport Road (A560) onto Joel Lane. When at the summit go left at the junction along Werneth Low Road and continue until Brow.
From Hattersley:
If travelling along the dual carrageway, Mottram Old Road (A560) turn off at the slightly concealed Apple Street from the main road and follow the quiet country lane all the way along. This road is quite tricky with many steep sections and some bad bends, if you take it slowly you should not have any problems.

- Hours:After dark!
Every night there is action even though sometimes it can be quiet, just be patient and soon enough a car will be along.
Daytime isn't a good time to go as this is a recreational area and dog walkers/families/ramblers DO use this country park and thus it is strongly recommended NOT to visit this area at these times!
- Cruising Info/ Tips:The summit of Brow, directly in front of a few large boulders there is a space for a number of cars to park.
