A park that has been active for years. Action is good about anytime, but especially evenings. No good when there are lots of dogwalkers, picnickers and hikers. Worst times are mornings and weekend days during the summers. Mens' john is active too, but

Who's Coming

All types

From Minneapolis, come south on West Mississippi River Boulevard. Cross the river on Ford Bridge. Continue south on East Mississippi River Boulevard. This street ends at the Highway 5 interchange. Continue on the boulevard across the interchange to the light. Turn right onto Crosby Road. From Highway 5 north of I-494 and the airport, exit at Mississippi River Boulevard/Gannon Road. Crosby Road is straight ahead at the light.
  • Crowd:All types: businessmen, younger, older, blue collar.
  • Hours:Open 6 am-10 pm
    Best times: Weekday afternoons, weekday evenings, weekend evenings.
    Dates open: Open 6 am-10 pm
  • Cruising Info/ Tips:Some prefer to check each other out in their cars first, and then walk down to the trails to and .
    Cruisiest Spots: Most cruise thru driving first, although some meet up in the mens' john when it is open in the warmer months.
  • Nudity / Policy:From downtown St. Paul or I-35E north, take Shepard Road west/southwest to Crosby Road.
  • Wheelchair Accessible:No
  • Warnings:Mosquitoes are something to reckon with in the summer in the woods --absolutley terrible and will ruin your trip if you are not prepared.
    Warnings: Cops drive thru occasionally, but don't bother anyone.

  • Slowly picking up...been driving through the past couple of weeks. See a few guys sitting in their vehicles, but then nothing goes on?! Will keep trying.

  • The gates are open again (dont know when that was) and guys are driving through again. Dont know how active and safe it is, but "us" guys are coming back now.....

  • the road into the lower park of Crosby Farm Park is closed cant get close to the park. Have no idea when it will be completed

  • at the park on Sunday some loony guy was in his car and harrassing
    He has some sort of siren attached to his car and setting it off then saying over a loudspeaker "any illegal activity going on in there. Never came into the woods left after about an hour to go home for dinner. The siren doesnt sound like a normal police siren. He had a hadicap sticker on his car mirror and never got out of his car.. Think it is a neighborhood fanatic. Don't let him scare you away.
