cruiser update 10/20/2008: This location is no longer St. Louis Workout. It is called Sante. Unknown if still gay-friendly. St. Louis Workout still has two other locations, but just not this one.

A clean gym, a lot of work out areas. And a lot of crusing too.

Located in the Central West End at the Hotel Chase Park Plaza Basement. This is a Central West End landmark. Across from Forest Park at Lindell and Kingshighway.

  • Crowd:Hot men, it's located in central West End, where many gay live. Age is 18 to 50.
  • Hours:Monday -Friday 5:30am - 10pm
    Sat & Sun 8:30am-6pm
    Best times: Early mornings up to 10:30am and again after 5:30pm to close
  • Cruising Info/ Tips:Eye contact is best or show in the showers, sauna, many look and hook up. Not a lot of straight guys there, mostly gays, but some straight guys will look, JO, in the sauna.
    Cruisiest Spots: Sauna for sure, but the gym area is hot too. Showers, a lot of action. Really just anywhere.
  • Wheelchair Accessible:Yes / You must go through the Hotel Chase.
  • Warnings:Some old trolls. I guess they're from the Hotel, but not a lot.
    Warnings: Not too bad. The management is gay friendly and some join in. They know what's going on, and you'll know who wil want to play.

  • I did a search of this place and on City Place there were 8 reviews, and most of them uncomplimentary. The big complaint was that they pressure you into a contract, with lots of binding fine print. Doesn't sound good.
