The beach is deserted except for the occasional fisherman or walker, but if you walk down the beach a quarter of a mile you will be alone. I recommend the north entrance because the rangers do check the beach from time to time, but you can see them coming up the beach from the south on their ATVs.
Neighbourhood: Ponte Vedra
Go south on A1A from Ponte Vedra or north on A1A from St. Augustine/Vilano beach area and follow the signs. Park on the west side of AIA and take the boardwalk.
- Hours:Any day the temperature gets over 80 degrees. Any hotter, mornings only.
- Cruising Info/ Tips:make eye contact, then look back. Wherever you may feel comfortable.
- Nudity / Policy:It isn't allowed, but they don't patrol the beach that often. Just keep an eye to the south.
- Wheelchair Accessible:No / Only on the boardwalk.
- Warnings:Just keep an eye out for the rangers and the occasional elderly person out for a stroll. I have never seen more than 3-4 people on this beach at any given time.
