Coast Road
This a useful car park to meet up with guys but you have to be very selective about when you go there. On nice sunny days there are plenty of non- gay types there just parked up looking out to sea.When the weather is bad there are few cars there and only serious guys looking for action. You have to pay (pay and display) until 6.0 pm. After that it is free. You can park on the front nearest the road bordering the sea but the best places are to park on the back row with the sand dunes behind you. You have perfect views of people coming and going. The part of the car park on the north side towards the Preston end is the best place to park. Just park up and if you see a guy on his own look his way and in no time you;ll be hooked up. Car action is possible particularly after 6.0 when the road is quieter and no-one can see into the cars on the car park.
Neighbourhood: On coast road
Head for the pier in Southport and drive down the side road towards the sea. This is the road with the new bridge on it. When at the mini roundabout on the front road after passing McDonalds on your right take the next right along the promenade. Ignore the first couple of entrances to the car park but go towards the end where it is less popular but more safer for cruising.

- Hours:After 6.0 p.m. but weekday afternoons sometimes when the weather is bad and the tourists go elsewhere.
