All open no s etc. Action takes place in the bushes and/or tree cover. Quiet place during the week except for the odd walker or fisherman. Office workers use it in summer. The occassional walk through by a warden either on foot or cycle different times of the day.

Neighbourhood: Attercliffe

Approx 1 mile from the Wicker walking towards Attercliffe. From the Wicker Arches walk along Saville Street bearing to the right onto Attercliffe Road. Pass underneath Norfolk Bridge and keep walking until you reach Washford Bridge where you will see the entrance on the right (as shown in the photo). Parking space aplenty on nearby roads. Another entrance exists on Warren Street at Norfolk Bridge. Follow the riverside pathway until you reach Washford bridge.

  • Hours:Accessable 24/7 however I havent used it at night so use caution at all times. I find the best times are mid morning to early evening.
  • Cruising Info/ Tips:Cruise all way along the riverside pathway back as far as Norfolk Bridge weir.
  • Nudity / Policy:No nudity so keep your clothes on. Unless you wish to do so in the thick bushes /trees.
  • Wheelchair Accessible:No / Wheelchairs are able to access this location although the path can be difficult at times.
  • Warnings:Police / Street Wardens both uniformed and plain clothes occasionally check the place out.
