The river is warm enough to swim in and shallow enough to stand on the bottom. Soft sand on the shore, the river bottom and sandbars. Nude sunbathing is common.

Drive out of the city south on Lorne Avenue. Follow the signs and park in the free parking lot. Walk about twenty minutes south on the shore of the river, past all the 'regular' beaches till you reach a nudist bank.
  • Crowd:All ages, all types.
  • Hours:Summer months (June to September) in the daytime.
  • Cruising Info/ Tips:Walk around the bushes naked and smile if you see someone you like.
    Cruisiest Spots: Gay nude men all over and a lot of activity in the bushes of the shore. You cannot miss it, it is so obvious!
  • Nudity / Policy:Yes / Nudity is commonplace.
  • Wheelchair Accessible:No
  • Warnings:No police, no interruptions, other than mosquitoes.
    Warnings: The water level can be high and current strong after heavy rain. Inexperienced swimmers should remain on the bank until the current subsides.

  • Yup - the sandbar IS huge. The water level is low - way down from last year. Tons of sand. Pick a nice warm day!

  • It shall be about ready to go for walks there soon,,,maybe 5 more weeks,,,,we've done it last year!
    And I will say,,we get some great tans and meet many of our friends there and chat away besides see other buds sneak off for fun!
