This is the very best outdoor venue for cruising in Sarasota. I found it accidentally and have had success every time I've been there. Plenty of privacy and easy to get to. And, in the event there is nobody to hook up with, its at least a nice spot to hang out. I think this place attracts a lot of married/attached guys because the nature trails/excercise is a great cover!
Crowd: Mixture of younger and some older. Straight/bi guys pretending to go on a nature hike.

It's right on Beneva Road between CLark and Proctor on the West side of the road.
  • Crowd:Mixture of younger and some older. Straight/bi guys pretending to go on a nature hike.
  • Hours:Daytime, especially weekends - early morning and also around 6:00pm.
  • Cruising Info/ Tips:Park in the lot and head towards a trail. Make eye contact and follow or be followed to a private spot down a trail.
    Cruisiest Spots: Down either of the trails there are plenty of private areas in this relatively unknown 72 acre preserve in the middle of town.
  • Wheelchair Accessible:No
  • Warnings:No bathrooms or refreshment areas.

  • I met someone last night who told me he was arrested here. its not worth it. if you want to get off that bad to to x factor its guaranteed and secure.

  • Object lesson for you who think parks are cool. A car was parked there, never moved, for over a week. That car is gone now. Why was it there all that time? The driver was in jail. They only tow your car if it's on a public right-of-way or you dui. So this person was arrested for lewd and lascivious and spent a week or ten days in jail.
    Motel rooms on the north trail are 50$ a night. Get a room.

  • on two drive bys i have noticed some activity, especially sunset and late night. not sure how smart it is to park your car on the side of major street and sit inside smoking and car cruising, especially late at night, but it definitely looks like its picking up
