  • Action seems to have moved across the Promenade to the bar at the Monsoon Cafe. Very cruisy during Happy Hour (5:00pm - 7:00pm) and bit later. Caveat - Friday and Saturday nights have a bathroom attendant, so you have to limit your crusiing to the bar...but still good for hook ups!

  • Barnes & Noble Santa Monica (Wilshire & 3rd Street Promenade) has closed the rest rooms on 3rd floor. The only restroom open to the public is the unisex bathroom in the coffee shop, which always has a very long line of both men and women. The coffee shop is required by CA law to have a bathroom, so they do.

  • The restroom is now CLOSED to the public. You'll have to do your cruising in the book store itself.

  • the Barnes & Noble restroom is up on the third floor. Mature as well as younger in the evenings. be discreet though.
