Not as popular as Secret Beach. Cliffs at end of trail make it a little tricky but it keeps the cops out.

30 miles west of Santa Barbara. Part of Gaviota State Park. Look for Mariposa Reina exit off US-101 North. Go back a bit down US-101 South for about 1/2 mile. Look for dirt parking lot on right. Trail moderately difficult.

(You have to be logged in) Add CommentI frequently visit this local. Sat & Sun will usually have families & couples. When you get to the beach, turn right, & go beyond the big rocks (about 1/4 mile). Less ft traffic, but more gay action. Lots of fun in the bushes, too, before u get to the beach.

A friend and I enjoyed a relaxing and hot afternoon here two weeks ago. Follow the footprints on the trails to find the best route to the beach. Beach is rugged and totally deserted except for other cruising guys. We swam in the ocean, sunbathed under the brilliant blue skies,, and invited another guy to join us in an intense 3-way. On windy days, bringing a tarp or tent would be advisable for protection against windblown sand. Toward late afternoon we noticed a helicopter moving up the coast, so quickly slipped into our shorts. I agree -- the best gay nude beach in Southern California.
