San Gregorio Nude Beach

Really hit or miss, with the sparse crowd trending much more toward older, daddy/bear types (as is typical for SF, alas). But it's still an interesting place - clean, wide beach and lots of privacy. Great spot to go and chill for an afternoon as long as you as you bring a book in case there's nothing else to distract you while you're there.

Still a great place to go, much less busy and much less dirty than some other beaches, rarely any "official" presence in terms of rangers etc., a fair number of fishermen especially during the weekdays. Saturdays and sundays can get busy, but even at their busiest, you can still be more than 100 feet from anyone else -- not stacked up like cord wood at Baker Beach. Just be somewhat discreet lest one of the fishermen call the rangers (not likely, but no sense in being stupid about it), and *please* clean up after yourselves in the condos... cigarette butts and empty lube packets are just unnecessary!

hi men! newbie here. when is the best time to go san gregorio? i'm planning on making a trek there next week...most likely on a sunday or monday. thx!

Any one know what's happening at Gray Whale Cove? I loved that place especially before you had to pay to get in.

Went last Tuesday after Labor Day. It was cold all day at the beach although it was warm everywhere else in the Bay area. Yet there were still over a dozen cars in the parking lot!



Be daring and walk bare all the way to the cliffs at the north end. See you there!

Still pretty good, but not like the old days. Only about half the guys there are nude these days.
