Neighbourhood: Sunnyside/Glen Park

Who's Coming

All types, young city college students, Latinos, lots of on the ground.

Go up Monterey from the Glen Park BART station toward West Portal until you pass Bader St. The conservatory is on the right after Bader, with a sign that reads "Sunnyside Conservatory"
Cross street: On Monterey btw Congo and Bader
  • Crowd:All types, young city college students, Latinos, lots of on the ground.
  • Hours:All day, afternoon and evening are best.
  • Cruising Info/ Tips:Stay out of sight of the main road, try to hide from the main path, keep quiet and play nice. Just use your noodle, I've never seen cops here, but enough careless guys could change it, so be slick about it...
Cruisiest Spots: The area inside the conseratory is open to the outside, but shielded from street traffic and the occasional pedestrian, which are infrequent but not unheard of.
  • Nudity / Policy:I've seen guys with dicks hanging out, but no blatant nudity.
  • Wheelchair Accessible:No
  • Warnings:Occasional dog walkers or joggers.
Warnings: Stay out of sight, use your common sense.

whos coming to Sunnyside Conservatory

  • LeanBodSF, take BART to the Glen Park Station. Walk to the corner of Diamond Street nearest the freeway, and then walk all the way up Monterey until you get to the 250-300 block. It's in the middle of the block on the right side of Monterey. After hours, you could probably hop the fence for a pre-arranged hookup. But as for cruising in general? It ain't happening here.

  • Can someone tell me exactly how to get here? It seems that this place is officailly closed but wondering if people still cruise here?

  • Although this place is "officially" closed for renovations, you can still hop the fence or enter "illegally" from the Joost Street side if you want to meet up with a pre-arranged trick. But as for cruising in general, I'd say it's dead until October 2009 when the barriers come down.

  • The place has always seemed to have potential - lots of shadowy corners in which a couple of guys could get it on - if a couple of guys were there... everytime I've gone there I was the only one around! And recently I went by there around 3:30 or 4 in the morning (just to see if things happened later), and the gate was locked up so I couldn't get in...
