Lots of trails and paths -- if going at night best to scout it out during the day. Lots of trees, and hidden spots. evenings everyone just tucks themselves in a hollow and stands jacking waiting for the right one.
Crowd: While all types and ages do go there, I would say mostly it's guys in moderately good shape and age-wise it's 35-60. Not a lot of younger guys.

  • Hours:6:30 am-11 pm. There is good cruising all night.

  • Warnings:The park is safe. Police almost never come up but if they do, you just walk downhill away from their car lights. Because of its location and steepness, few problem people hang out there though once in a while a homeless person camps out, but they are harmless.

  • The south east slope, which is the cruisy area, is now fenced off for a landscaping and erosion control project. It is expected to last through the rest of 2009, and I suspect will not be quite the same.

  • Thanks, HotRearCD2! That would be fun. For any other BB tops that cruise here, there's a great Latino BB bottom who cruises near the tennis court restroom. He wears a black hoodie, Oakland Raiders ballcap and sweats. His hole is awesome, so look for his posts on Craigslist. I breed him about twice a week when he's in town!!!

  • This place is usually pretty busy. I've been here during the afternoon, evening and late night and have always been able to find someone to play with. just be careful about exposing too much skin as the mosquitoes are pretty vicious, but I guess bug repellant would take care of that problem. also, it helps to bring a blanket or some such similar covering so you won't be playing in the dirt. it's hard to sit on someone's face in the middle of a trail or in a bush...

  • went there during the heat wave last Thanksgiving (2007) and had a great time while the moon was partially full - best to go when moon is 1/2 full to completely full to help light the way

    i'm lucky i can see in the dark well but it helps when you want to see the person you're gonna hook up with

  • It was pretty scary go up there after dark. I did not see any one up there, and I did not know it was safe or not. I heard many stories after dark but I have not had a chance to get one. Anyone would tell me is that up there safe after dark. Thanks.
