I will be visiting in July for Comicon. I'm in my mid forties. Will probably have to go durring the day on Thursday or Friday. Might make it for one evening. Do they have special events?

Wow! -- I haven't been to the Vulcan for a year or so. I'm getting older, but the others in this place make me feel young! I couldn't believe how dismal it was. I didn't stay very long and don't intent to go back.

Allow me to remind you guys that are complaining about the older clientele at the Vulcan that they may have been going there since they were very young. The place has been in business far longer than I"ve been alive. I guess you think that the gay community should have open season on the mature crowd rather than allowing them their rightful fun? Ah, it's going to be sweet revenge when you men reach your advanced years. I hope you're treated with the same lack of respect and understanding. I should also enlighten you on the fact that these same men are the ones that fought for the rights you have to even frequent a gay establishment. I would like to see how you treat your parents and grandparents. I hope it's better than you're displaying here.

BeachStud thanks for the info and for the most part you were right but there were a handful of others that were younger. Although the 60 yo guy with the 9 incher was impressive lol

Normal days are 14$ for a locker and 19$ for a room.
Mon and Wed they have a special on lockers for 11$ i believe.
You need a membership as well which costs a staggering 1$ per for one month :-p I hope that helps...and i hope to see you there

yah this place sucks for young guys. they ought to fix it up like some of the hot places in l.a. that i go. mazes, dark rooms, glory holes, etc. and they need to figure out how to get rid of the old guys that camp out everywhere and you can't get rid of them. they ruin the action for all the young hot guys and then they don't come back.

i don't go there anymore and i won't as long as its so lame.

Man does Vulcan give a senior citizens discount it looked like a nursing home today it was the first time I left with out cuming I have been going there for more than 10 years

Actually somethng has popped up on Xtube..haven't been to Vulcan..but it looks like it couldve been at club sd.

they are not going to allow you to take videos in this place or pics maybe if you get a room there. Just go and check the place out friday or saturday evening will have the widest variety of guys there. there are only two bath houses left in san diego we dont want to advertise on x tube . just go check it out for yourself

It costs 14$ for a locker and 19$ for a room I believe. One month membership is 1$. Mondays & Wednesdays are discount locker days and cost 11$. I hope that help!

Today might be a pretty good day. Mondays are also discount days, plus it's a holiday so you might get some more people cruising...usually holiday a lot of peeps go.

Of course there are no sure things, but I think you'll find that Wednesday is better. The locker discount seems to attract more men. Let us know how it goes. Good luck!
