From Mission Gorge/Jackson go east on Mission Gorge about 1/4 mile and turn left into the park entrance and go 1.8 miles on the one way road to the dam parking lot.
Cross street: Jackson
  • Crowd:Construction and military.
  • Hours:Daytime, especially at lunch or after work.
  • Cruising Info/ Tips:For guys in the cars in the lot show hard and on the trail nod and smile. Flash lights if your parked along the road and you want to let another driver know your interested.
    Cruisiest Spots: cruiser adds 8/6/2008: Here are a few pictures of the Old Mission Dam area. One of the signs at the entrance to the parking area, the Dam and a picture of the better cruising spots in the park.

  • Nudity / Policy:Yes / Common Sense should suffice.
  • Wheelchair Accessible:No
  • Warnings:Closes at sundown and gates locked.
    Warnings: The few rangers will not bother you unless you are grossly conspicuous. They drive small white pickup trucks with city emblem. No undercover activity has ever been seen. The SDPD does not get out here because the tourists do not usually come out here and complain. Use common sense.
