This place is awesome. It's a beautiful river canyon totally protected from outsiders. Swimming is popular, though the water is cool. All men, and virtually all are naked. Open is common and perfectly safe. Guys socializing and cruising around in rings is a common sight. Lots of guys strip on the trail and hike around naked. Don't be shy. It's a great place for exhibitionists in a beautiful outdoors setting. Bring a lot of water, and save some for the hike back up.
Crowd: All ages. You need to be in good shape for the hike back up.

Loacted in Auburn. Northeast of Sacramento. Elm Ave exit from I-80. Left on Elm. Left on High Street. Drive into ravine for approximately 2 miles. Park on either side of the road. If you get to the bridge, you've gone too far. Gay area is about a 20 minute hike downstream.
  • Crowd:All ages. You need to be in good shape for the hike back up.
  • Hours:Anytime with good weather: spring, summer, fall. Weekends are busiest.
  • Cruising Info/ Tips:Don't be shy. Open stroking or casual playing with your is common.
    Cruisiest Spots: The entire gay area. About 20 minutes downstream. On beach and on trails.
  • Nudity / Policy:Yes / Almost all go nude. Lotts of nude hiking. Cockrings popular.

  • The Sacramento Bee ran a story on Sunday, May 24th about the nudity, etc. going on in the ravine and that families were bitching about it. Be aware of potential crackdowns.

  • Man! That was some hike. If you're not familiar with the where the beaches are it would be a good idea to follow some guys down from the parking turn-out.
    Got a lot of sun today but nothing else. If anyone was down there today I was the VERY white guy in the white thong.

  • what is this place like. i just moved to norcal and would love to have a place to be nude. I read somewhere, that the police are cracking down here. Anyone know about that. I would love to visit here and lay out.
