Nice wooded area at access site. Trails lead into the woods along the river on both sides of the road. Plenty of state-owned land to travel on foot. Also, has outhouses available

From Roscommon, head north/east on M-18 for approximately 5 miles to Chase Bridge Road. Turn right on chase Bridge Road and travel about 4 or 5 miles to the AuSable River. Park in lot and walk from there
