The theater is gone, the booths are gone, but it's still a landmark that should be visited by cruisers from across NY. I had the good fortune to visit a few times when they still played dirty movies in the dark and let me tell you it changed my world. When I was seventeen a couple of friends and I drove up to the city and wandered around monroe ave. When we stumbled on the theater we were enthralled. Being boys, we had to go in. none of us had seen a porno on the big screen before. As soon as we settled into our seats it became apparent that there was more going on than just movie watching. My friends couldn't handle it and stormed out, but I had the biggest hard-on of my life. I went back as soon as i could and found myself some new friends.
