This is a park on the lake just above the Roanoke Rapids dam. I think it closes around dusk, but not for sure. There are restrooms that can be active at times, and plenty of walking trails between the actual park & the 5th Street boat landing. There are plenty of secluded places off the trails to have some fun.
Neighbourhood: Belmont
From Roanoke Avenue, you take 5th Street going west then veer off to the LEFT onto Bolling Road until you come to Oakwood Ave. Turn RIGHT onto Oakwood Ave and continue towards the dam. Just before the circle at the road's end there is a parking lot for the park on the left.
From US158 heading west, turn RIGHT onto Zoo Road and proceed to the stoplight in front of Food Lion. As you pass in front of Food Lion, Zoo Road becomes Bolling Road. Continue on Bolling Road and just as you pass Belmont Elementary School, turn LEFT onto Oakwood Ave and follow directions above.

- Hours:Park is open early morning to dusk, though it may be open later than that. Afternoons are usually the best times, although mornings can be active too.
- Cruising Info/ Tips:The park has benches, picnic areas with canopies, & rest rooms which can be quite cruisy at times.
- Nudity / Policy:It is a public park, so nudity isn't "permitted" but in the restrooms and off the walking trails are plenty of secluded places to have fun, as long as you are discreet. I have seen one str8 couple having , & some enjoying nude sunbathing.
- Wheelchair Accessible:No / The main entrance has quite a few stairs but the side entrance leads to the trails, which are pretty level and would appear to be wheelchair accessible.
- Warnings:Haven't seen any police presence as yet, and the caretaker rides his cart around the picnic areas, emptying trash cans and cleaning the restrooms sporadically.
