A great old cinema. I saw one guy getting , but really it's just for ing. Plenty of black, white, and latino meat, often huge. I think it's harder if you're just looking to get ed, there is less choice. But for me, it was heaven!

Exit Cinelandia subway station and you'll see Rua Alvaro Alvim. Walk down about 2-3 blocks, you'll see the Rex Cine on the left side.

- Hours:Noon to 8pm
Best times: 3-7pm. After dark Central Rio is really quite dangerous, even for locals. No restaurants are open at night, for example, in Central Rio. - Cruising Info/ Tips:Walk in, get used to the darkness for about 5-10 minutes. Once you are, you can start looking for what you want.
Cruisiest Spots: The entire theater, but there is a dark room down the left side, usually full of about 20 guys playing. But there is pleny of action in the seats. - Wheelchair Accessible:No / An old building, so no luck.
- Warnings:Smelly toilets. Strangely few guys were trying to watch or join in, so it's nice if you like a quick one-on-one, with no yucky guys spoiling the action. I blew 8 guys in about 2.5 hours there, and at least 5 of them were married. Most also wanted to mage my while I blew them, but didn't seem interested in there. Plus I doubt anyone uses anyway, so stick to ing.
Warnings: As opposed to cinemas I've been to recently in Istanbul, BKK, and elsewhere, there were no checks by ushers or anything--really a good spot!
