Olho de Boi Beach

Buzios is a well-known beach resort approx. 125 miles northeast of the city of Rio de Janeiro. Get a local map once you arrive. I stay in the center of town (Stone Street -- Rua das Pedras) and then walk to "Praia Brava" beach. Once you arrive at the beach, turn right and walk to the end of the beach, then follow the quite distinct path over the small mountain to "Olho de Boi" cove.

• Crowd:This is a nude beach frequented both by straights and gays.

• Cruising Info/ Tips:The rocks on both the right and left hand sides of the beach are very cruisy. The rocks occasionally are also used by local fisherman, so be discreet when they're around.
• Nudity / Policy:Yes / At least half of the people are nude on a typical day. There are more men than women. Of the men, probably over half are gay. If you see a nude man heading off over the rocks, you can pretty much be sure he's gay and looking for .
