This is a friendly neighborhood bar that attracts a regular crowd but is frequented by many visitors to Reno. A lot of folks walk accross from the Peppermill to drop in.
Crowd: Mostly more mature crowd. Bears and leather seem to predominate.

    Best times: Late evenings. Many special events.
  • Cruising Info/ Tips:Stop in, sit at the bar and have a drink. Be friendly because everyone else is.
  • Wheelchair Accessible:Yes / Go in the front door on the side.
  • Warnings:If you are offended by nudity and/or other ativities, Carl's is not for you. A lot of folks walk accross from the Peppermill to drop in.

  • Never been to a lock down. When are they? Will be there in June (months away) and want to get WELL aquainted with a few guys.

  • have a couple buddies that go to the lock downs religiously. they always have a great time.. ton of men and lots of action. I understand one of the owners is leaving and not sure what that might mean for lock downs. Otherwise, bar opens at 2p and I've been there about 3-4 for a drink. very relaxed with maybe 2-3 regulars there. its a nice time to just go chat, but for more cruising hit carls on the weekend. usually happening about 9-10p. always a mixed crowd, a bit more older and not so many twinks but still a lot of very hot men! very much a neighborhood bar.

  • Hey Hot... it could be that you was there before they opened. Unlike Snicks in Las Vegas, Carl's is not open 24 hrs a day. Snicks doesn't have a lockdown but then they don't need it. After 12m guyz are dong what guyz do. Carl's is fun and things happen.

  • THIS PLACE ISN'T ACROSS THE STREET FROM THE PEPPERMILL IT'S A HALF A MILE AWAY . AND I HAVE BEEN BY THERE A FEW TIMES ANDS IT HASN'T BEEN OPEN ! DOES ANYONE KNOW WHATS UP HERE ???

  • Is this a good place for meeting single decent guys??? Hot one night stands are great but REALLY want to meet a sincere relationship minded type for LTR, always wanted to see what this place is like. anyone want to share a few stories with me?
