The tow path on the River Kennet, adjacent East and West alongside the Cunning Man Public House.
The tow path itself, although close to the pub is fairly discreet and not really visible from the road. There's parking in the large pub car park 24hrs a day, or in the lay-by just before the pub on the left hand side of the Burghfield Road Eastbound. There's 'activity' for about a quarter of a mile East and West of the pub alongside the river, usually in the bushes/fields or underneath the Burghfield road bridge.
Neighbourhood: Burghfield Bridge
From Reading town centre. Drive west on the A4 towards Newbury until you come to the Tesco Express on your right. Turn left at the traffic lights junction and onto the Burghfield road. Carry on for about three quarters of a mile (30mph & speed cameras) go over a humped back bridge after another half a mile you will come to another bridge (this is Burghfield road bridge) over the bridge, and the Cunning Man is directly on your right with the lay-by on the left. Walk across the pub car park, and step over the style onto the tow path. Alternatively (from the lay-by) walk back towards the river and go through the gate (public right of way) so no trespass worries.

- Hours:Open 24/7. Best Days Thursday through Sunday. Always after dark. 20.00-01.00 have been best.
I have met guys there in daylight, but safest to find somewhere else to go after meet.
- Cruising Info/ Tips:Cruise along the wire fence down to the bridge then alongside the bushes going east or the bushes west towards Pangbourne. Best spots, just out of sight of the car park on either side, or hang around under the bridge.
Mostly older guys seem to go here. Sometimes there's a few fishermen along the bankside, they're not always angling for fish :)
- Nudity / Policy:Nudity in the fields is fine, although be careful in the bushes as dog walkers may be around.
- Wheelchair Accessible:No / Through the gate is accessible to all
- Warnings:I've never seen any police, and there's no cameras on the pub that can be seen.
Have a little respect for the wildlife, take your rubbish home with you.
