You will be doing a lot of walking. There are tons of trails, open areas, swimming (skinny dipping). It is very wooded.

Raleigh/Chapel Hill. 751 south form I-40 about six miles, cross bridge, first dirt road on right, parking lot, take path to the right ONLY! A cruiser adds: After you park you will see a obvious trail with a "gate" at it. This is not the one you want to take. Go to the other corner where you turned into the lot and you will see the trial that needs to be take. Take the right fork and then just work your way down to the water.

  • Hours:Daylight hours.
  • Cruising Info/ Tips:There is a store nearby, do take soemthing to drink, it gets HOT during the summer, in more ways than one. Get naked, walk around, see what happens. Have fun.
    Cruisiest Spots: Parking lot can be cruisy, But be careful, Sheriff/Rangers do patrol. All the action takes place in the woods.

  • this is one of my favorite places to go swimming in the summer. Follow Rt751 about 6 miles south of I40, Once you cross the bridge over the lake you'll see parking on the side of the road. Park and follow the trails on the west side of the road to the lake. Straights can be found at the north shore, and gays to the south shore. Theres a number of small beaches to hang out at. Nudity is not legal, but it doesn't appear to be enforced either. I hang out nude and the guys there give me lots of attention :)

  • sure. just park down at the bridge and walk in that way. trails are easy to follow. just follow the shoreline and you will be fine.

  • Stopped by Friday around 4PM. Chain was across the road to the parking lot. Saw several cars parked by the bridge. Where do people go when entering the woods at the bridge?

  • Parking lot is closed for the time being. Should be having a controlled burn this week or next. Lot will reopen sometime after.

  • Will be going on Saturday for some fun in the sun 75 degrees, I have been a few times during the week and its starting to pick up since its getting warmer, Love being watched or watching so Hot just have to be carefull but everyone is welcome to come out and walk run ride bikes hike and play in the woods ...latr haha

  • Heard the lot was open. Drove out there yesterday, and it is indeed open. The sign says "Public dove hunting area". I got there around 11:30am. No hunters. I stayed 'till around 3.
    Don't know if this is just a hunting season thing or not.

  • Went yesterday and had the place to myself for the first couple of hours. Then a few guys ventured in after lunchtime. Got a wonderful bj from one of them. Hope to see him again
