Surprisingly, the clerk said the store has been open a year. Due to its relative newness, it is CLEAN and everything works! They obviously try to keep it clean. There seems to be lots of guys driving by at night but not always going inside. This is the one and only video store for miles, I think. And definitely the only one in the Ridgewood area. Because it is on the L train, it is convenient to Williamsburg and Bushwick and only 20 minutes from Union Square (but then a 5-7 minute walk).
Crowd: Lots of youngish Latinos from the neighborhood.

  • Cruising Info/ Tips:Since the glory holes can be opened and closed by the customer, it would be obvious when someone is interested.
    Cruisiest Spots: Adult section in the rear of store includes about 6 booths with glory holes.

  • Warnings:Too early to tell but I've not been bothered yet.
    Warnings: Reasonably safe neighborhood but a little riskier if you go the wrong direction after getting off at the Myrtle L train station.

  • usually on a Friday aroun 4 or 5 it gets busy. Which attendant was it? The younger one with the longer hair (ponytail) or the older guy?

  • You definitely can hang out with the door open as long as you watch out for the attendants. Action outside the book is OK in one section where the camera can't see. There have been people here the last few times I went. May head over tonight.
