There are three areas people go after meeting; to the parking lot under the Triboro bridge, under the Hellsgate bridge, or the shaded areas around the pool entrance. On top of the pool entrance there are two big columns; guys that are looking tend to stand there. I have had great , j/o and right there.
Crowd: All types of guys. Mostly quality people that are either bi-curious or gay.

Cruising happens on top of the entrance and starts around 10pm-4am. 12/06/04 A cruiser reports: they are building apartment on this site out of the old factory. Yes there is cruising but the neighbors are watching. Be careful.

    Cruisiest Spots: On top of the pool entrance, overlooking the pool. Also between the Hellsgate and Triborough bridge.
  • Nudity / Policy:Yes / In shaded areas.
  • Wheelchair Accessible:No
  • Warnings:No complaints really. Just don't leave evidence (like , tissues, etc.) on the floor.
    Warnings: At your own risk. Heavy police reported and bashing.

  • there is action...but it's very hit or miss... there's a lot more people around due to the new co-op building right along the park...

  • was there tonight...nice place...no cruising at all. Maybe it was too cold??? I don't know but i wasn't impressed. alot of people though. alot of strait people making out in there cars...and some people exercising and running...that was about it.

  • What use to be once a heavy amount of cruising traffic here ended around 1999, when they had several gay-bashings in the neighborhood. Since then, at the request of residents in the area, there is HEAVY POLICE PRESENCE, both uniformed and civilian-clothed officers who are present far before 10:00 p.m. As of late, there is hardly any cruising going on here -- I frequent the area and have seen absolutely NO SIGN of cruising in this neighborhood.

    Use common sense if you decide to give this area a try.

  • I've met some of the hottest Greek and Latino men at this park. Lately undercovers have been busting anyone in the park after 10pm. Stay on the sidewalk out front till you know it's clear, then go in.
