MEGAPLEX RHODE ISLAND - I arrived on Sept 18, 2010 (Saturday Night) around 10:30 pm . When I got to the window their was a big sign that said the wet and dry sauna are closed. When asked about this, I was told the dry sauna is as good as dead and would not be fixed since it was not fixable. The wet sauna had not been for working for sometime  and they were not sure if and when it would be fixed. I asked them what is the purpose of having a bath house with no saunas to speak of. He said it costs money and they didn't have the resources to fix them. The floors (carpet) were the nastiest I have ever seen. The smell was like being in an old cottage with the stench of smelly feet. I was told by one troll ( I mean troll) who was very nice that they had been closed down by the health department for hepatitis. The towels and sheets had seen better days. The whole place needs updating and the customer base was horrific. I have been to many and this was the dirtiest, smelliest and saddest bath house I have ever been to. If you want to throw money away then go or if you are into three hundred pound guys that towels barely fit, men older than the Rocky Mountain's... then go. I never saw one attractive guy from one from 11- 2. What a dump and a waste of time and money. I had to shower when I got home since the coating of smell and dirt on me lingered. Ant review that is good is 100 percent the workers or owner writing. I am doing you all a huge favor by sending this warning.
