There is a large wooded area at the bottom of the field where the pond is, also many footpaths lead to this. This is the best place.

If travelling from Preston (Lancashire), come in on the A5083 (Stanifield Lane) heading towards Leyland Town Centre. You will reach Farington first, continue until you see the Farington Lodge on your right, the park is just after that on the right.
