Waterfront

Since 06-11-01 on, the City of Poughkeepsie Police Department have launched an all-out attack on men who are cruising the Poughkeepsie City waterfront, Kaal Rock Park, Rinaldi Blvd, and the surrounding wooded areas. Several guys have been arrested and they are not letting up. They are usually working in pairs and the cops are hot. Do not let this fool you. They are driving unmarked police cars, usually their two-door dark blue Chevy Lumina. They will park it sometime on the side road and enter the woods through the back way. Other times, when there are a lot of guys parked along Rinaldi Blvd, they will just pull right in there, get out of their car, walk in the woods, and come out with a couple more 'cruisers' under arrest.
